DSU – Dispatching Service Unit – is the department of CVI that receives and registers all diagnostic samples. After receipt the samples are registered in our automated Laboratory Information and Management System (LIMS). In LIMS each individual sample gets a unique code. With this unique code we can trace every sample up to the moment of the test result report.

Contact
For any questions you have concerning a test, test result or invoice, feel free to contact our DSU department during working days from 10 – 12 and 14 – 16.30 hrs. Telephone +31 320 238302; fax +31 320 238307; e-mail dsu.cvi@wur.nl.

Institute closed during public holidays
Besides the public holidays (New Years Day, Easter, Queens Day, Ascension Day, Whitsun, and Christmas) the institute in 2011 is closed on June 3. Samples that arrive the day before the weekend or a public holiday will not be handled until the next regular working day*. The maximum number of days before the test result is given can be found in our Dutch list of prices (Tarieven online) under ‘doorlooptijden’. The number of days are working days.

* In case of suspicion of a notifiable disease or for confirmations, tests are run as soon as possible.
